The delegation demanded the removal of electricity poles erected in front of industrial units. Entrepreneurs maintained that plots allotted to them by e-tender by both Noida Authority in Phase 2 as well as GNIDA in Sector Ecotech 2 lack civic facilities. Despite this, interest and lease rates are presently being levied on the owners.

Speaking on this issue Priya Singh, assistant general manager (AGM) of industries Noida Authority, maintained that, “An appropriate decision will be taken by raising the matter at the highest level.”

On the issue of power trips, GB Nagar district magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has directed for uninterrupted supply to the industry.

On the issue of power dues of the past consumers being sent to the current consumer of a unit, Verma directed officials to fix the problem. “No demand should be made for the outstanding amount from any entrepreneur who has been issued a NOC,” the DM said.
