Over 350 dengue cases in Ghaziabad, Noida has 289

Ghaziabad added 14 new cases on Monday bringing the total dengue count to 353. Among the new patients in Ghaziabad, the youngest patient is a one-year-old resident of Sarai Nazar Ali, while the eldest patient is a 69-year-old woman from Crossing Republic. In GB Nagar, 289 dengue cases so far.

NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Ghaziabad added 14 new cases on Monday bringing the total dengue count to 353. Among the new patients in Ghaziabad, the youngest patient is a one-year-old resident of Sarai Nazar Ali, while the eldest patient is a 69-year-old woman from Crossing Republic. In GB Nagar, 289 dengue cases so far.
District Combined Hospital in Sanjay Nagar has 12 beds reserved for dengue patients.

Similarly, 15 beds are reserved at the MMG Hospital.
"On Monday, 58 teams visited 63 localities in the district and issued notices wherever larvae were found. During the drive, 2,105 houses were inspected, and anti-larvae solution were sprayed,” said Dr RK Gupta, district surveillance officer.
The GB Nagar CMO has instructed the private hospitals to conduct Elisa tests for the diagnosis and not only rely on low blood platelets.
At the District Combined Hospital in Noida, 50 beds have been reserved for dengue patients.
The doctors added that along with dengue, and malaria there is a spurt in viral fever cases.
