NOIDA: The ongoing power infrastructure upgrade work is set to enhance transmission

Load distribution work is on at 80 substations in Noida and officials have set a March 31 deadline to finish pending projects. On Saturday, officials of UPPTCL and Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) held a meeting. "I have told PVVNL officials that they should complete construction of 33 kV lines and 33/11 kV substations by March 31. Along with this, work to connect all substations with alternative lines should also be done," said Senthil Pandian C, managing director (MD), UPPTL.

, managing director, PVVNL, said: "Repairs should also be completed by March 31." Puneet Gupta, superintending engineer, UPPTCL, said: "The capacity will be 80% more than what it was and nearly double of last summer demand."
