Vimal, Gaurav and Akhil —and several unidentified persons in the matter.
“The incident happened around 8.30pm at Sai Upvan society in Greater Noida (West). Investigation revealed that two electricians identified as Vimal Prasad and Gaurav, were called by a resident of the society for some repair work. While they were exiting the society on their bike, they were asked by a security guard —
Sunil Kumar— to exit from gate number 2,” said Umesh Bahadur Singh, Station House Officer of Bisrakh police station.
The highrise society has a system of entry for visitors from Gate 1 and exit from Gate 2, police said. “In no time the two got down from the bike and indulged in an argument with the security guard,” Singh said. Arvind Kumar, ACP -2 Central Noida stated that the incident was captured in the CCTV cameras of the society “Vimal was picked up from the society while others managed to flee. The security guard sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital,” Arvind said.
Police said Vimal and Gaurav had called some people to attack Sunil. A case has been registered under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 147 (rioting), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) on Thursday.
