Arjun Vajpai has successfully reached the basecamp of Mount Annapurna in
Nepal
. Vajpai is on a quest to put India among the elite group of international mountaineer who have climbed all fourteen of 8,000 metre peaks in the world. Mount Annapurna is world’s 10
th highest and most dangerous
mountain
located Nepal which is 8,091 metre in height.

“Arjun has started his first round of rotations and route setting to the summit of the mountain. He is accompanied by three more people on his team out of which two are Sherpa. It will take the team approximately 3-4 weeks to complete the rotations, set ropes on the route upto the summit and return safely if the weather allows,” said a spokesperson for Arjun.
