NEW DELHI: State-owned NBCC Ltd on Friday said it has bid to take over bankruptcy-bound Jaypee Infratech and complete stalled

housing

projects in Noida.

NBCC chairman and managing director Anoop Kumar Mittal said the company is "keen to acquire" Jaypee Infratech and complete over 20,000 housing units. He declined to share the bid value but said the resolution plan submitted by the company is beneficial for all stakeholders, including banks, home buyers and NBCC.

NBCC needs no introduction.....Being a PSU, I still remember way back in 1980''s till 1992, the company was going through tough financial constraints because of very few orders in hand while comparing and now the status of the company is completely changed by getting large orders especially from govt and private sectors under the supremo of Mr. A.K. Mittal, CMD good going...& . keep it up NBCC.!!..
