Lawyer’s car snatched at Sector 61

NOIDA: Three men snatched away the car of a lawyer at Sector 61 on Friday. The victim, Amit Sharma, had left his house in Hasanpur village to meet a client in Sector 61.
“He said that he stopped his Swift Dzire and waited for his client near Sai Temple. Three criminals came in another car and snatched his car keys. One of the criminals drove away in Amit’s car while other two fled from the spot in their car,” said a police officer.
According to Amit, the criminals threatened him of dire consequences if he raised an alarm.By the time police reached the spot, the criminals had fled.
Zahir Khan, SHO, Sector 58 police station, said that a case of loot has been registered. “We are examining the footage of cameras in the the area. We have formed a team to arrest the accused,” he said.
