GREATER NOIDA

: Among the survivors of the Ford Endeavour crash on Sunday morning, two are still in critical condition while others were discharged. The doctors at Kailash Hospital informed that Abhishek Tyagi, who was driving the Ford car, suffered a

cardiac arrest

on Sunday night and his chances of surviving are less.

“The patient is on life support ever since he was taken to hospital. He also suffered a

cardiac

arrest on Sunday night after which we revived him using Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). We’re trying our best, but, the chances for him to survive are very less,” said a spokesperson of the Kailash Hospital. Abhishek had suffered a severe head and chest injury, a fracture of the right femur bone along with muscle tear in the abdomen.

The spokesperson added that Nancy has also not shown any noticeable recovery, however, she has been reported semi conscious by the doctors. “Nancy’s condition has not improved but she has been stable so far. Her recovery seems possible, however, it may take a few months because she has some internal injuries which we are making efforts to identify. We have conducted an MRI of her head that had swollen overnight,” said the spokesperson.

Apart from the two, the car owner Ashish Sood is also in the hospital for a head injury. “Ashish is conscious and is in a state to talk now. He has a fracture in the head and has lost the middle finger of his right hand. He will be in the hospital for a few more days,” the spokesperson added.
