Checks at 5 helipads for UP CM’s visit to Greater Noida
Noida: Ahead of CM Yogi Adityanath's visit to GB Nagar on March 8, a team from the district administration, led by DM Verma, inspected five helipads at NTPC Dadri, Kot village, Expo Mart, Sector 145, and Sector 128 on Wednesday.
A senior district official said the CM is expected to travel between venues by air, though road routes have also been reviewed as a contingency plan. The DM also inspected the public gathering site at NTPC Dadri, where the CM is scheduled to address residents.
"The CM will first land at NTPC Dadri helipad to unveil a statue of Maharana Pratap and address a public gathering. Following this, he is expected to visit Kot village in Dadri to inaugurate the Avaada Giga Factory, which houses a 5 GW integrated solar module manufacturing unit. A dedicated helipad was also set up at Kot village," the official said.
The DM also inspected the public gathering site at NTPC Dadri, where the CM is scheduled to address residents.
"A large turnout is expected at the event, so officials have been instructed to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place, including crowd management and public safety measures," Verma said.
"The police department will also take care of law and order arrangements," he added. The CM is then expected to fly to the Expo Mart helipad, from where he will head to Sharda University to inaugurate a new clinic.
"After this, the CM will travel by air to the Sector 128 helipad. From there, he will go to Sector 132 to inaugurate the Sify Data Centre. He will then visit Sector 145 for the ground-breaking ceremonies at the sites of Microsoft and MAQ Software," the official added.
"The district administration and police teams have jointly inspected all sites to assess the status of preparations for the CM's visit on March 8. We are still awaiting the detailed itinerary," Verma said.
