Brothers stabbed to death in Sector 49

NOIDA: A group of unknown persons chased two brothers on Monday and repeatedly attacked them with knives, resulting in their deaths, said police.
The crime occurred around 9 pm in Barola village of Sector 49 when the two brothers were walking together in an inner road of the village.
According to the police, the attackers allegedly chased the brothers, Umesh (22) and Yogesh (24), stabbing them till they jumped inside a drain.
However, they continued to stab them till they were wounded to an extent of becoming lifeless.
The brothers repeatedly shouted for help but noone came to their rescue.
Unconfirmed reports said the attackers were numbered to about 10-15.
A spokesperson for Prayag hospital in Sector 41 where they were taken by onlookers after the attack said that both the brothers succumbed to their injuries.
Relatives of the victims duo blocked the road outside the hospital and protested against the incident.
Sector 49 SHO Vinay Kumar Singh said that the matter seems to be of personal rivalry but police is yet to get full details.
