Body of woman found on Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Greater Noida

NOIDA: An unidentified body of a woman with injury marks was found on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) under Dadri police station jurisdiction early on Monday morning.
According to the police, they received information about a woman's body on the EPE around 7am.
"A team from Dadri police station went to the spot and removed the body from the EPE.The body had injury marks on the hands, legs and head. There were tyre marks on the road near the accident spot as well. Prima facie it appears that the woman was hit by a heavy vehicle," Abhishek Verma, deputy commissioner of police, Greater Noida.
Police said efforts to identify the woman are under way and teams are checking the CCTV footages of the area as well.
