After Monday’s firing incident, the family of Jai Bhagwan , who was shot at his chest by Ramu from the rival group, had refused to cremate the body. Some members from Jai Bhagwan’s family had also misbehaved with Ramu’s family, according to police.
Locals however, said that Jai Bhagwan’s sons and family members indulged in destruction at Ramu’s house.
“The boys’ father is paralysed and bed-ridden. Jai Bhagwan’s sons came and opened the gas cylinders in the house. His mother Veena Devi, is also old,” one of the villagers told TOI.
Locals also circulated video of Ramu lying on the spot, in which he can be seen brutally wounded with his face completely damaged. However, it was still not clear what caused Ramu’s death as the post mortem report is yet to come.
Piyush Kumar Singh, CO, Dadri told TOI that the cause of death will be confirmed only after they receive post mortem report on Wednesday.“However, it is clear that he had a severe head injury towards the left side, an injury on his chest and his face,” he said.
Police teams have been deployed for monitoring the situation in the village and the police presence will be gradually reduced, Singh said.
SP (RA) Sujata Singh told TOI that the situation is under control.
However, sources told TOI that a few names cited in the two FIRs from both sides seem to be dragged into the case unnecessarily and the same would be verified by police. Police sources said that the some names can be struck off the case.
