Baby dies in birthday party brawl

NOIDA: An eight-month-old child being breastfed by his mother died after being hit with a stick during a birthday party in a house in Noida on Friday night as some guests got into a drunken brawl.
The baby, Priyanshu, was immediately rushed a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A 20-year-old youth, Sonu, was arrested. Police said he was a cousin of Priyanshu’s mother.A manhunt is on for the other two named in the FIR, Sonu’s brother Vijay (18) and brother-in-law Dharam Singh.
The trio was invited by Priyanshu’s mother to their home in Sector 58 to celebrate the birthday of her elder son, who is eight years old. Family members said Sonu, Vijay and Dharam Singh had drank heavily at the party and picked up a quarrel with other guests.
