After protests, Gr Noida holds camps for land allotment

Noida: The Greater Noida Authority organised a camp in Sirsa village where farmers submitted their documents to get 6% developed land on Saturday. These farmers had been demanding 10% abadi land and protesting outside the Authority’s office for the same.
The camp was organised in order to determine the farmers’ eligibility to get 6% of land. More than 70 farmers attended the camp and submitted their documents on Saturday.
The Authority will allot plots after checking the documents and completing the documentation within the Authority. It will also release the schedule to set up camps in other villages soon.
Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar has given officials instructions to organise these camps in the villages to provide facilities to the farmers and check their eligibility to get 6% of the developed land.
Officials also heard other complaints related to the village from locals at the camp and assured that the issues would be seen to.
