Two get life term for murder of sanitation worker

Navi Mumbai: After eight years of trial in the murder case of a sanitation worker hired on a contract basis at the public toilet at CBD railway station,the Thane district additional sessions court has convicted the three accused. While, two key accused identified as Satyanarayan Yadav and Manoj Kumar Yadav have been sentenced to life term imprisonment with Rs 5,000 penalty, the third accused identified as Kamlesh Bansal has been sentenced to 5 years of rigorous imprisonment for causing disappearance of evidence of offence and Rs 50,00 penalty.CBD police had meticulously detected the murder case by first identifying the murder victim and the probe led the cops to the two prime suspects Satyanarayan Yadav and Manoj Kumar Yadav, who were arrested after one week. The duo accused revealed the name of their aid Kamlesh Bansal who had helped them in disposing off the chopped body of victim Kirti Kumar Jaiswal.The victim Kirti Kumar Jaiswal was strangulated by the two prime accused after they had all consumed liquor inside the public toilet at CBD railway station on the night of July 4, 2015. Thereafter, the duo had hidden his body in the bathing room of the public toilet by locking the door from outside. After two days, on July 6, they purchased an axe from the market and used it to chop the victims body into pieces inside the toilet. With the help of third accused Bansal, they stuffed the pieces into plastic bags and dumped it in the public dustbin near CBD railway station.
