Soon, single window system for deemed conveyance

Navi Mumbai: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) will soon start a single window system for deemed conveyance (transfer of lease deed from builders to societies). This will reduce hassles faced by residents while processing documents with various departments.
Thane guardian minister Ganesh Naik hosted a guidance programme on deemed conveyance at Vishnudas Bhave auditorium on Thursday.
“We will start the system soon, as part of our people-friendly approach. This will be faster than the existing multiple desk processing system,” said Cidco MD Sanjay Bhatia at the programme.
Bhatia has also promised to expedite the process of issuing no objection certificates (NOC) to property holders for deemed conveyance.
In response to a query highlighting 5,000 pending NOCs with Cidco, raised by Vashi corporator Kishore Patkar, Bhatia said that he has instructed his planning wing to expedite the process.
