NAVI MUMBAI:
Shiv Sena has instructed its representative to vote in favour of the no-confidence motion against civic chief
Tukaram Mundhe
on Tuesday.
With NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena coming together, the total numbers of corporators supporting the motion is now at 105. However, the 6 BJP corporators have decided to remain neutral. The house will need 69 votes of the 111 political members.
“Apart from being non-corrupt, Mundhe’s administrative skills are stunted. His focus has been only on acquiring revenue with little thought for development,” said Sena
corporator
Kishor Patkar. City mayor Sudhakar Sonawane said that he wants to teach Mundhe a lesson of law. —Sameera Kapoor Munshi & B B Nayak
