Raigad police discovered the body of Sumit Jain, one of two missing Nerul real estate agents, in Pen taluka, around 2km from where Sheena Bora's remains were found in 2015. Jain and Amir Khanjada, who remains missing, vanished after attending a meeting in Raigad. Their abandoned car, with bloodstains and bullets, was found near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

Body of man found under Trichy bridge

The body of 41-year-old R Senthil was discovered with a strangulation mark under a bridge near Thuraiyur, Trichy. Identified by his friend Mohankumar, police initiated investigations suspecting foul play. Senthil, involved in hardware and electronic business, was reportedly last heard from on Wednesday night. The body was sent for a postmortem examination, and the case logged as suspicious death.
