Private hospital faces action after Rs 7L in inflated bills

Kalyan-Dombivli
civic body on Friday suspended the licence of a private hospital inDombivli
, banning it from admittingnew Covid patients
for treatment. The civic audit team foundSwami Samarth Multispeciality Hospital
overcharged three patients of over Rs 7 lakh in total, and directed the money be returned. The licence will be suspended till September 30, said a spokesperson, and the hospital has been asked to return the money.Top Comment
