NAVI MUMBAI: A sub-inspector (SI) was arrested by the Navi Mumbai Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from an accused booked for voyeurism.


The cop was attached to the Mora coastal police station.

The accused SI has been identified as Sagar Pawar (29).

A first information report (FIR) under Section 354C of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) had been registered against the complainant at Mora coastal police station on March 9.

The accused SI Pawar demanded a bribe of Rs 20,000 from the complainant for not submitting concrete evidence against him.
