NAVI MUMBAI: Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has threatened to impose a ban on development works upon coming to power if industries continue to go to Gujarat. Addressing election meetings in Kankavli and Malvan, Thackeray challenged Modi to come to Sindhudurg to see dynastic politics.

He accused PM Modi and home minister Shah wth creating a "Berlin wall" between Gujarat and the rest of India. He took a dig at union minister Nitin Gadkari, raising the issue of the incomplete Mumbai-Goa highway.

He said the refinery project in Ratnagiri will not be taken up as locals are opposing it. He said employment will be through environment friendly projects.

Thackeray asked voters to compare the cost of cooking gas and the value of the falling rupee against the dollar now and in 2014.

He asked people to vote out Deepak Kesarkar and two "villains", a reference to MP Narayan Rane's sons.
