City kids to compete on fitness level
Navi Mumbai: The city will soon have a contest to find the ‘fittest kid’ of Navi Mumbai.

The contest is being organised by FitterFly, a city-based child fitness and nutrition start-up.
Children between the age of 5 to 18 years can participate in the competition that will be held from November 3 to 12 (12 noon to 7.30pm) at a Vashi mall.
The aim is to promote fitness in children. “The concept of fitness among children is new in India. In countries like the US and some European countries, school children undergo mandatory fitness tests every year.”

level of the children will be judged on ten factors—stamina, flexibility, leg and hand strength, chest strength, core strength, height, weight, BMI and body fat percentage.
