NAVI MUMBAI: To curb the rise in number of positive dengue cases, NMMC will carry out a five-day special drive, Rapid Fever survey, which started on Monday.
Health officials, along with volunteers, will carry out door-to-door check-ups and determine whether any of the residents are suffering from fever and ask them to seek medical help.

“The survey will check out if anybody is suffering from fever and refer them to civic hospitals for urgent medical attention. We decided to carry the survey in areas where large number of mosquito breeding areas has been spotted,” said a civic health official.
The official added if any citizens have doubts about breeding spots in their area, they should immediately approach the nearby urban health post.
