Nashik: The Special Investigation Team probing sexual assault and black magic cases against astrologer Ashok Kharat on Tuesday summoned a Nashik-based hotelier for questioning as part of its expanding investigation into Kharat's alleged illegal activities.SIT officials said the hotelier, a former trustee of the Shirdi Sansthan, was called after the team received a formal complaint alleging that Kharat stayed overnight at the hotelier's establishment on multiple occasions. Investigators are examining whether the hotelier had any direct or indirect role in Kharat's criminal activities.
