Schools reduce vacation time in Nashik
NASHIK: Many schools in the city have reduced the time frame of summer
While some schools have reduced the days of summer vacation by a week, or 10 days, a school has decided not to give summer vacation at all.
Though the
Gems English Medium School has summer vacation from May 1 and will resume in the last week of the month.
“The first unit which was supposed to be conducted at the end of April, now will take place in the last week of May. We deferred the test as we were figuring out a way to conduct the test online,” said Adke, who is also the principal of the school.
Fravashi International School had the scheduled summer vacation from May 1 which will now begin from May 10. Online classes will resume from June 1.
“The parents had also requested us to give a break to the students as they have been attending virtual classes,” said Varsha Bhalerao, a teacher at Fravashi. The teachers will have to attend various online workshops during the break, said Bhalerao.
On the other hand, Ashoka Education Foundation has completed its summer vacation and started conducting classes from May 4.
