NASHIK: A group of fans of Salman Khan's Tiger 3 set off firecrackers at Mohan Theatre in Malegaon to celebrate the actor's entry on screen on Sunday night.
A clip from the cinema hall showed some fans bursting firecrackers inside the hall during the screening of the film, police said.
The Malegaon Chhavani Police reported that people ignited large firecrackers, including 'rockets,' sparklers, multiple bursts, sutli bombs, and more, posing a risk to those inside the theatre at the time of the incident around 10.15 pm.
The Chhavani police announced this morning that a complaint is being registered against the individuals responsible for setting off the fireworks.
Police inspector Raghunath Shelar said, "Some individuals ignited fireworks inside the closed theatre, endangering the lives of others present. So far, no injuries have been reported to us. However, a complaint is being filed against the unknown person.'
This is the second incident of firecrackers being set off in a Malegaon cinema hall since October 7 when individuals celebrated the entry of
Shah Rukh Khan on the screen during the screening of his movie.
