Students of Rasbihari International School made eco-friendly Ganesh idols from shadu clay for the recent Ganeshostav festival. The students made sure that all the Ganesh decoration should be eco-friendly. The students had taken an initiative to protect the environment from harmful materials like thermocol, plastic and other non-biodegradable materials.
Ganpati celebration at DPS
Ganeshotsav was celebrated at Delhi Public School, Nashik. An eco-friendly idol was done by school’s art department students.
Ganesha at St Lawrence
Under the theme of ‘Learning to be a Vighnaharta in our lives’, the students inacted a scene of Ganesha emerging from the water to help his devotees. Keeping the eco-friendly theme in mind, a seed infused idol was installed during the festival. After a symbolic immersion on the fifth day, the idol was placed in the botanical garden of the school.
Wisdom High International School celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi
Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in school in an eco-friendly way at Wisdom High International School. From installing a Shadu clay idol to energetic traditional performances, every ritual followed was a stepping stone towards conserving nature and its habitat.
Dump yard visit by Fravashi International Academy students
Akshat Chaturvedi, Paritosh Gatkal and Disha Takle from of Fravashi International Academy visited the dump yard at Pathardi Phata, Nashik as a part of the global perspectives on ‘Sustainable Waste Management’. The representative of the dump yard imparted the students with a tour of the facility and demonstrated the various recycling and waste management techniques.
Teachers Day celebrated at St. Francis High School
Teachers at St. Francis High School, Tidke Colony celebrated Teachers Day. Students enacted a skit imbibing the value of the month to topic self-discipline. The teachers enjoyed ‘Hasya Kavi Sammelan’ and tree plantation. Head master Kusuma C Shetty explained teacher’s role in the making of a prosperous nation, as teachers are the strong pillars of any civilized country.
Interact club of Fravashi International Academy (FIA) Installed
The FIA’s Interact Club office bearers were formally inducted at a special ceremony graced by Manish Chindhade, President of Rotary Club, Nashik. Aditya Patil took the responsibility of the club presidency and Khushi Malhotra became the vice president. Arnav Kulkarni and Angad Dhupia took charge as the secretary and treasurer respectively.
Workshop informed about importance of milk at St Lawrence
St Lawrence organised a special workshop for Grade 1 students calling it Moo Theme. The complete steps of milk processing were explained with the help of steel containers along with the models of the machinery. The students promised to throw garbage in dustbins so that cows in the surrounding areas don’t accidentally eat it.
Boys’ Town Spectrum inaugurated
Quarterly newsletter ‘The Spectrum’ of the secondary section of the Boys’ Town was inaugurated by on September 5 by PTA vice-chairman Nilesh Tiwari and other dignitaries. The school already comes up with a newsletter called ‘My Cloud’. A copy of Spectrum was given to all present at the gathering.

Mathopedia at Rasbihari International School
Students planned a mathematical quiz during the assembly every day from 13th August to 16th August. The activity included puzzles, games, riddles, tricks, Metric Mela where parents also joined the initiative. All grades from 6 to 10 took part in the organisation of the activities.
