Maximum temperature rises by 4°C in four days
Nashik: Residents are feeling the summer heat after the maximum temperature in the city increased by four degrees — from 30° Celsius to 34° Celsius — in the last four days. The minimum temperature is hovering around 17° Celsius to 19° Celsius.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the maximum temperature of Nashik would cross the 35° Celsius mark in the next couple of days.

Nashik on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 30.1° Celsius.
Swapnil Patil, a resident, said he has started using fans due to warmer nights. “I have started feeling the heat during the daytime. I avoid going outside in the harsh sun between 12 noon to 4pm and do most of my work in the evening,” he said.
According to the weather station of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth at the wheat research centre in Kundewadi, Niphad taluka of the district, the maximum temperature in Niphad — a major grape growing belt of Nashik district —has crossed the 35° mark.
Apart from Nashik, the maximum temperature elsewhere in north Maharashtra has also risen. On Monday, the maximum temperature in Jalgaon was 37.6° Celsius, while the minimum temperature crossed the 21° Celsius mark.
