Five children from Dindori killed in separate incidents

Nashik: Five children from Dindori, aged between 10 and 15, were killed in separate incidents, with one case reported in Dindori and four in the jurisdictions of Saikheda and Wani police stations.The police said 14-year-old Sameer Gangode, of Parmori village, and 11-year-old Yash Pagare, of Ambe village, had gone to play in the Kadwa river at Parmori around 4pm on Tuesday, and drowned.In another case registered in Dindori, 14-year-old Suraj Gaikwad accidentally strangled himself while playing on a swing hung from a tree near his house at 12.30pm on Friday. By the time his family members came to his aide, he had already died.Meanwhile, in Saikheda, two boys, Omkar Phatangade (13) and Rudra Jadhav (13), both residents of Mohadi in Dindori, drowned in a stream in Kherwadi, which falls under the Saikheda police station.
