First aid importance taught to Delhi Public School students

were taught to give first aid to their respective doll/teddy and were made familiarised to the terms like antiseptic, gauze, bandage, band-aid and glucose. The students were taught to stay calm and act swiftly while giving first aid to the needful. They were given step by step demonstration of first aid to their toys on any cuts and wounds. The students were also educated about the importance of expiry dates.

Lawrentian wins an inter-school competition

Six students of St Lawrence High School participated in an inter-school Rangoli competition organised by the Symbiosis School. The students made Rangoli depicting their vision of ‘Saving the Environment’. Nikita Nishad of class IX bagged the first prize to bring laurel to the school. The institution also had its annual sports day for class I to III where class III students shared their views about sports and recited a few poems about the importance of sports.

MaRRS won by Global International

The students of Global International School bagged two honours at MaRRS Competitive Exam. Arna Jain won the first prize at the international level while Swaranjali Mohan stood third at the national level.

New Era stands second at Bhagvadgeeta recitation

Class VII student of New Era English School, Chinmay Garud, bagged the second position in the Bhagvadgeeta recitation competition organised by Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Karnataka under the Geeta Gyan Yagna Venture. All the 700 verses and 18 chapters of the Sanskrit scripture of the Geeta were to be memorised and recited in the presence of the dignitaries. Out of seven contestants in the finals, Garud was the only one to represent Maharashtra. The students of the school also made a model of the United Nations where the delegates of various countries like China, France, Russia, the UK, USA, Germany etc portrayed their environmental issues. The students discussed environmental impact of peacekeeping, global warming, air and water pollution, deforestation, change in climatic conditions, etc.

Vasant Panchami at The Nalanda Academy

Vasant Panchami was celebrated by students of The Nalanda Academy in a traditional way. All the kids were in yellow attire and a special assembly was conducted with Saraswati Vandana. The teamwork and co-operation made this celebration successful.

Fravashi bids farewell to the X batch of 2019-2020

Fravashi International Academy bid a warm farewell to its class X batch of 2019-2020 in a glorious function. The Master and Miss Fravashi contest was the highlight of this event. All boys and girls ramp walked as they flaunted their finest attires. Based on the confidence and presence of mind of the contestants, at the end of two tough rounds, Rajat Patil and Rucha Malpure won the coveted titles. The students were taken down memory lane by a presentation that made everyone quite emotional. They also pledged to uphold the values inculcated in them by the school in a solemn ceremony.
