Nashik: The Nashik food and drugs administration (FDA) seized sweets worth over Rs 3 lakh that were being transported from Gujarat in a vehicle without following the necessary storage rules.
An FDA official said they are keeping a close watch on sweets sold in the markets to ensure they are not harmful to the health of the people. “The action was jointly taken by us and the Nashik Rural police,” the official said.
