Cuticon -2015, the three day academic conference of dermatologists discussed various topics relevant to present day skin diseases.
On the culminating day of the conference on Sunday, Dr Robert Schwartz while speaking at the oration lecture in memory of renowned dermatologist from Mumbai Late Dr Leslie Marques, highlighted on the diagnosis of different types of cancers inside the body through the symptoms seen on the skin. He also elaborated on the treatment modalities of the skin diseases.
The day also saw Col Dr Rajesh Verma , AFMC, Pune, Dr Asit Mittal, Luknow, Dr Sheetal PUkjari, Mumbai, Dr Vikrant Savaji, Nagpur guide the professionals onaspects of impact of newer modalities of treatment in psoriasis, treating psoriasis in pregnancy, managing childhood psoriasis, metabolic syndrome in the disease and drug induced psoriasis and other topics.
Nearly 700 dermatologists from the state attended the conference that was fruitful in modern day challenges of dermatology practise, stated Dr Vijay Zawar, conference president and also the president of the state level IADVL.
