Nashik: 45-year-old doctor ends life due to debts & illness

NASHIK: A 45-year-old doctor ended his life by suicide on Sunday at a lodge in

Sinnar

by consuming a poisonous substance.

The deceased has been identified as Swapnil Patil, a resident of

Gangapur Road

Police

Naik Chetan More of Sinnar police station, who is investigating the case, said the doctor has left a suicide note behind in which he has stated that he was ending his life due to the rising debt and prolonged illness. The doctor also wrote that no one should be held responsible for his actions. The suicide came to light on Sunday at 6.30 pm.
