Nashik: 2 tourists drown at Ankai fort

NASHIK: Two tourists drowned at the Ankai fort in Yeola on Monday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Milind Jadhav (26) and Rohit Rathod (22), both residents of Kopargaon in Ahmednagar district.

Around 2 pm, Jadhav entered the pond in the fort to take a dip, but he started drowning. Rathod too entered the water to help Jadhav. However, both of them drowned. The police were informed, and the bodies of the two youths were recovered an hour later.
