‘Anti-National’ Alliance In Maharashtra, Says Yogi Adityanath At Amravati Rally
Amravati: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp attack on the Congress and its allies at Amravati on Wednesday, calling their past policies against the nation's interests.Speaking at a public rally in Gurukunj Mozari, Adityanath criticized Congress for fostering policies detrimental to the nation, contrasting them with the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP Mahayuti alliance, which he claimed stands for true national interest. He expressed confidence Mahayuti would emerge victorious on Maharashtra's "sacred soil."The rally was organized to support BJP candidate Rajesh Wankhade, who is contesting against Congress leader Yashomati Thakur in the Teosa constituency. Adityanath also extended his support to BJP candidates from Dhamangaon, Varud, Achalpur, and Melghat constituencies. He began his address after paying homage at the shrine of Sant Tukdoji Maharaj.Adityanath addressed recent incidents of communal tension in Maharashtra, condemning Congress for allegedly dividing the Hindu community. He urged for Hindu unity, saying that the rioters would eventually show respect and even participate in civic duties during future religious processions if the community stands united. He stressed that "national duty" should come before any other allegiance, calling it the foremost "religion" in India. Adityanath highlighted the Indian military's readiness on the China border as a point of pride, while accusing Congress of seeking power for personal gain. He appealed to the public to support the BJP for genuine development, promising a focus on improving the lives of common man.
