‘Vidarbha Kala Akademy’ to be launched by Marathi actor

Nagpur: Marathi film actor Bharat Ganeshpure, who hails from Vidarbha, said he is in the final stages of starting the ‘Vidarbha Kala Akademy’ which will focus on promoting movie shoots in the region. Speaking at an event organized by NMC, Ganeshpure said film shoots in Vidarbha locations will generate allied employment. “We want to create the talent pool in Vidarbha so that movie producers start flocking for shoots. All staff, equipment and other related support crew will be available locally to them,” said Ganeshpure.
