Uttalwars’ Pratapgad Fort replica is the best
Nagpur: A replica of Pratapgad fort, made by Mandar and Arnav Uttalwar, won the Shiv Kille Group Competition the result of which was announced on Saturday.
In Vaidarbhiya kille group, Abhishek Kalamkar’s Vairagad fort got the top spot. In imaginary forts group, Pitale Shastri High School, Laxmi Nagar, secured the first place.
The fort-making competition was organized in three categories. Ramesh Satpute coordinated the contest.
The other winners of Shiv Kille Group Competition are: Raigad by Killedar Group (second) and Vijaydurg by Mangesh Barsagade (third). Ranjana Joshi’s Devgiri fort replica got a special prize for woman competitor.
In Vaidarbhiya Kille Group, the other winners are: Bhushan Umathe’s Nandivardhan (second). Dilip Indurkar of Sonegaon was selected for senior citizen competitor award.
In Imaginary Kille Group, the two other winners are: Walmiki Nagar Hindi Primary School, Gandhi Nagar (second) and Radha Gadre’s model (third). Aditya Anagha Multi-State Credit Co-operative Society Ltd, Anand Nagar, was selected for special prize for Panchdurg fort.
As many as 70 competitors participated in the contests. Brigadier Sunil Gavpande, Dattatraya Sonegaonkar and Shirish Deshmukh worked as judges.
