Three arrested for Rambagh murder

Three people were arrested and a minor was rounded up by Imambada police for allegedly killing Anil Wanjare, 22 at Rambagh on Saturday night. The deceased was a resident of Pardi and an auto driver.

Nagpur:Three people were arrested and a minor was rounded up by Imambada police for allegedly killing Anil Wanjare, 22 at Rambagh on Saturday night. The deceased was a resident of Pardi and an auto driver.
The arrested accused, identified as Ritesh Tayde, Abhay Kamble and Amol Waghmare will be produced in the court on Monday. Police informed TOI that the main accused, Mayur Phule, Amol Bagde, Suraj Patil, Rishi and one more are still absconding.
Police said that the murder took place following an argument. One of the accused, Kamble was having a walk with his female friend when an argument took place between Wanjare’s brother-in-law Akshay Pusare and Kamble.
The argument turned into a fight between the duo and Wanjare interrupted to resolve the differences. At the same time, Phule and Tayde rushed to the scene to intervene on the side of Kamble, resulting into a big tussle between Wanjare, Akshay and Phule and his group.
Due to intervention by nearby people, the fight was solved temporarily. Minutes later, Phule, Kamble, Tayde and other members reached Pusare's residence at Rambagh and thrashed Pusare, his elder brother Rishab and even threatened his family of dire consequences.
Again an hour later, Pusare with Wanjare went to attack Phule and gang but instead, both were attacked with sharp weapons. Akshay somehow managed to flee but the gang stabbed Wanjare repeatedly and later stoned him to death on the spot. Pusare is currently undergoing treatment.
By the time police reached the spot, the murderers had fled.
