NAGPUR: A teenager, aged around 15 years, was abducted and killed by his neighbor on Thursday to avenge his mother's exploitations by victim's uncle in the past.

The body of the victim, identified as Raj Pandey, was found near Govindrao Wanjari college on the

Outer Ring Road

in the early hours of Friday.

Sahu

had lured Pandey with a promise to take him for a cricket match before taking him away on bike.

Pandey was abducted from Indiramata Nagar in MIDC and taken to Outer Ring road.

The teenager was first assaulted repeatedly with a stone on head and then his veins in the wrist was slit.

Different police units, including CP

Amitesh Kumar

, were desperately searching for the boy and his abductor after the victim's family alerted cops.

Earlier, the neighbour, Suraj Sahu, had demanded Pandey's family to behead victim's uncle and send him the pictures if they wanted to see him alive.

Sahu and Pandey's families had tried to dissuade him repeatedly but he did not listen.

A case of kidnapping and murder was registered against Sahu at MIDC police station.
