Teacher attacks colleague in principal’s room
Nagpur: A teacher allegedly assaulted a colleague at a junior college near Ashi Nagar during the duty hours. Police said CCTV footage captured a scuffle which occurred in the principal's room on Friday.According to the complaint filed by Sagir Ahmed Amir Sheikh (48) at Pachpaoli police station, he was speaking to the principal around 10am on Friday when the accused, Muntazim Khan Asad Khan (44), who is also a teacher at the same institution, intervened. When Sheikh objected, Khan stood up from chair, abused the complainant and struck him on the left side of his forehead with an unspecified object, stated the complaint. Sheikh started bleeding profusely and fell on the floor.

He was rushed to Mayo Hospital for treatment. After receiving first aid and necessary treatment, he reached Pachpaoli police station. An FIR was registered under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused is yet to be arrested.
