NAGPUR: The debate over Starbus operations has become a hot political issue. On Monday, chief minister Prithviraj Chavan asked municipal commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal to submit a report on the allegations being levelled by Congress corporators.
By the end of the day, Jaiswal had become the focal point of the issue, as opposition as well as ruling leaders made a beeline to his office.

The drama started with leader of opposition Vikas Thakre and corporator Raman Paigwar giving final touches to the process of lodging an FIR against then municipal commissioner Aseem Gupta, present municipal commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal, then additional deputy municipal commissioner Ajay Ramteke, traffic engineer Nasir Khan and executive director of NMPL Mahesh Moroney.
