St Joseph’s Convent-Fetri celebrates Annual Sports Day

Nagpur: St Joseph's Convent Senior Secondary School, Fetri, hosted its Annual Sports Day, comprising thrilling competitions. The event kicked off with a vibrant opening ceremony, featuring a prayer, dance, march past, and a torch-lighting ceremony. Sharad Suryawanshi, principal of Gulab Nabi Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, was the guest of honour. Sreenivasa Rao, IFS, was the chief guest on Day 2 of the event. The other special guests included Shruti Gandhi, director of The Wizkid's Abacus and Vedic Maths, Sr Cecile Coutinho, provincial superior, Sr Purnima Michael, provincial councillor and Sr Tessy, councillor.The atmosphere was electric, with students from all four houses — Sapphire, Emerald, Citrine and Ruby — cheering and chanting as they prepared to battle it out for the coveted championship trophy. Sapphire House emerged as the overall champion. Principal Sr Ritika Michael and vice-principal Sr Anthony Mary lauded the staff, students and support staff.
