Seven Nagpur doctors felicitated; new IMA app launched
NAGPUR: Indian Medical Association (IMA), Nagpur Chapter, on Saturday, felicitated seven doctors from the city for their exemplary work. IMA president Dr Vaishali Khandait inaugurated the new IMA android app on the occasion of doctors’ day.

The app was inaugurated by Dr Ravi Wankhedkar, President Elect IMA Head Quarters, New Delhi who was the chief guest for the function while Sumant Takade, HOD of Management in SB Jain Institute of Management, Nagpur was the Guest of Honour. Dr YS Deshpande, President Elect, IMA Maharashtra was the presiding officer for the function. IMA city chapter secretary Dr Prashant Rathi was also present on the dais.
Ram Bhakre, Principal Correspondent of newspaper Loksatta and Vijay Kabra, social worker were felicitated for their services given towards the betterment of the society.
Meritorious children of IMA members who have proved themselves by excelling in academics, sports and extra-curricular activities were also felicitated on the occasion.
