Nagpur: Chief of the RSS, Mohan Bhagwat, will lay the foundation stone of the proposed ‘Bharatdurga Mandir' near National Cancer Institute, Jamtha, on April 24 at 5.30pm. The initiative, spearheaded by Dr Abaji Thatte Seva Aur Anusandhan Sanstha, will see the presence of CM Devendra Fadnavis and Union minister Nitin Gadkari.
Dharmacharyas Karashnipeethadhishwar Swami Gurusharananan, Junapeethadhishwar Aacharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Giriji Maharaj, president of Hindu Dharma Aacharya Sabha, Govinddev Giriji Maharaj, treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, Swami Mitranand, Chinmaya Mission, Sadhwi Ritambhara Devi, and Bageshwar Dham Dhirendra Krishna Shatri are also expected to be present during the programme.
Former MP Ajay Sancheti, who is also the vice-president of the Sanstha, and president of Sanstha senior advocate Sunil Manohar will also be present. Organisers said the project aims to create a spiritual and cultural centre dedicated to Durga worship.
