President Pratibha Patil will be inaugurating the mega celebrations being organized by the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) for the platinum jubilee of the Bombay high court's Nagpur bench on February 6.
A galaxy of high-profile dignitaries including chief minister Prithviraj Chavan, justice Dalveer Bhandari, supreme court judge Vikas Sirpurkar and chief justice of Bombay high court Mohit Shah will grace the occasion.

The programme has been organized on the court premises.
The celebrations will continue at Vasantrao Deshpande hall in afternoon with a symposium on 'Role of courts'. Shirpurkar, Justice Pratap Hardas and senior counsel Uday Lalit will deliver the lectures. This will be followed by felicitation of senior lawyers who have completed five decades in the legal profession.
On the next day, a series of guest lectures would be conducted where legal luminaries including Supreme Court judge CK Thakkar (Retd), justice Sharad Bobde, justice BR Gavai, and UK solicitor Sajid Sheikh will enlighten the audience on various topics related to the judiciary.
It will be followed by session of nostalgia where speakers including senior lawyers discuss their long association with the court and fond memories. The celebrations will be concluded with a Marathi play by noted actor Dr Girish Oak.
On Tuesday, security officials from the president palace took a review of the security arrangements and also held a meeting with HCBA office-bearers regarding protocol and other things.
