Prakash Gajbhiye injured in accident in J&K

Nagpur: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and former MLC Prakash Gajbhiye was injured in an accident in Srinagar on January 24.
According to information reaching here, Gajbhiye was travelling with his family in Jammu and Kashmir. Their vehicle met with an accident near Srinagar on January 24. Gajbhiye suffered serious head injuries when the vehicle overturned. He was immediately admitted to a hospital and was put on ventilator.
"The patient was in coma, and is recovering after an operation for a clot in the brain," said Dr Ashraf Gania, director of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar.
It is learnt that his condition improved on Wednesday, and there was speculation that he would be shifted to New Delhi for further treatment.
