on his three acres land.

It is learnt, Kodavate had borrowed Rs one lakh from a local primary cooperative and Rs2 lakh from

Vainganga Rural Bank

. Due to drought like conditions in the last three years, he suffered crop damage and could not repay the debt.

His ailing son was admitted in a private nursing home in Tumsar last fortnight. The hospital charged Rs50,000. He returned to his village but could not arrange the money. Left with no alternative, he committed suicide. The
