A recent order of the electricity regulatory commission said MSEDCL has imposed a maximum limit on cash payments of electricity bills from August 1.
“All consumers of Mahavitaran (except the small pressure agricultural category) can pay electricity bills of maximum ₹5,000 per month in cash,” the company has said.
