NMC employee caught smuggling MD suspended

Nagpur: NMC has suspended one of their employees who was recently caught smuggling and supplying mephedrone (MD) drug.
The action was initiated after a criminal offence was registered against NMC employee Kapil Khobragade, who was working as supervisor in the health department, and his subsequent arrest. Kapil is learnt to be the main accused in the MD smuggling and selling racket.He used to smuggle the deadly drug from Madhya Pradesh to the city and was supplying it to other peddlers in Nagpur. TNN
