Musical programme gives silky touch of romance
Nagpur: Evergreen and enchanting songs were presented with aplomb at a musical programme titled ‘The Silk — Touch of Romance’, organized by Shri Entertainers at Scientific Society Hall, Laxmi Nagar, on a rainy Friday evening.
Songs from movies like Amar Akbar Anthony, Lootera, Tezaab, Quayamat Se Quayamat Tak, Teen Deviyan, Tiger Zinda Hain and old hits entertained the audience.
Solos like ‘Chupke se lag jaa gale’ by Anushka Kale, ‘Aye zindagi gale lagaa le’ by Rohit Mishra, ‘O sajna barkha bahar’ by Sucheta Padmawar, ‘Aaj kal yaad kuchh aur rehta nahi’ by Yogesh Aasre, ‘Lagan lagi tumse mann ki lagan’ by Suresh Ayyar, ‘Dil mein ho tum’ by Prashant Valokar, ‘Dil diya gallan’ by Rohit, ‘Dhundhe kise mera mann’ by Anushka, ‘Kaisa yeh ishq hai’ by Suresh, ‘Yeh kahan aa gaye hum’ by Sucheta, ‘Sawaar loon’ by Rujula, ‘Saamne yeh kaun aaya’ by Nitin Zade and ‘Ek do teen’ by Swara Pampatwar.
Duets ‘Ek raasta hain zindagi’ by Nitin Zade and Anushka, ‘Jeehale maski’ by Sucheta and Nitin, ‘Pyar mein kabhi kabhi aisa bhi’ by Prashant and Anushka, ‘Kuchh kuchh hota hai’ by Rohit and Swara, ‘Tum jo aaye zindagi mein’ by Suresh and Anushka, ‘Suno kaho kaha suna’ by Sucheta and Nitin, entertained the gathering.
Others duets like ‘Soni meri soni soni’ by Yogesh and Sucheta, ‘Aye mere humsafar’ by Rohit and Anushka, ‘Kya khoob lagti ho’ by Prashant and Anushka, ‘Apne pyar ke sapne kuchh hue’ by Sucheta and Nitin, ‘Tere mere hothon pe’ by Prashant and Anushka, ‘Arey yaar meri tum bhi ho gajab’ by Anushka and Nitin and ‘Chunri sambhar gori’ by Sucheta and Suresh were well-received.
The programme was conceptualized by Nitin Zade while anchored by Swara Pampatwar.
